home code projects photos wiki resumé tombstone ?

I'm off the market.

and I'm not interested in other opertunities at this time

That may change in the future ;-) and that's why I try to keep this page up to date. But due to security concerns at my job, I am unable (and unwilling) to post the name of the company nor the projects that I am working on.
Let's just say that it's...

I would like to talk about the who, what, where, when, why and how - but I just can't do that in a public forum.
Sorry.

Microsoft Word Document version of my resumé!

Q&A

Q: Do you have a Microsoft Word version of your resumé?
A: Yes, it is always the most up to date version

Q: Do you have your resume in any other file format?
A: Sure! I've got a plaintext version as well! But it may be out of date.

Q: Is that it? Plaintext is well, let's face it - plain. And due to political reasons outside my control, I can't read Word Documents. Do you have an HTML version by chance?
By chance I do! But I would recomend that you stick to the WinWord version, it's always the most up to date version

Q: So, how many versions of your resumé do you have - and what version is most current?
A: There are three actually. Here they are in order of how often then get updated...

  1. Microsoft Word Document
  2. That same document, exported to HTML - it may not view well in non-Internet Explorer web browsers
  3. Plaintext, suitable for viewing in notepad or any other simple text editor with a monospace font.
This is rarely updated unless there is a special request to do so. It takes a bit of work to convert a nicely formated word document into plaintext that doesn't look like garbage

Q: What do you get when you multiply 6 by 9?
A: 4213

Q: How do you feel about Whiteboards and (low-odor) dry earase markers?
A: I know of no better method of brainstorming

Q: How do you feel about managing?
A: Well, that's a tricky one. At this stage in my career I prefer the roll of Code Monkey and Mentor to that of the Master of Schedualing, Meetings, and upper-managment interfacing. Eventually, I know I'll move into a management roll. But right now I'm having way too much fun coding.

Q: What video games do you play?
A: Well, after working 5 years at GameSpy some things were bound to wear off on me ;-)
